The “Crowd” (‘move by pushing in a wheelbarrow’) is ‘an unorganized collective of race-less and faceless people pressing against each other’–each seemingly pushing in clamoring to deal with the mirror image of the leaves and fruit of the Tree of Life. An illustrative 1899 children’s game of what it is like to be part of a Crowd is “Pin the tail on the donkey”. After a picture of a tail-less donkey is tacked to a wall, blindfolded children, one at a time and in turn, are handed a paper “tail” with a thumbtack poked through it. Each child is then spun around until disoriented so as to grope in trying to properly pin the tail on the donkey. Although the child wins who comes closest to the donkey’s rear, “winning” is only of marginal importance. Similarly, in a Crowd the co-actoring mindsets of alone people, so strangled by their own egos as to shun themselves, gain a sense of freedom from conventional restraints and simultaneously being aware of powers they lack and intensely desire. The now “new Me” drives one to express views and/or commit acts of which one would otherwise be ashamed. The profound life-changing price they pay in choosing to shut out their birth gift of Spiritual Natural Knowledge—being disconnected from their Cosmos awareness Certainty—is deserting their Real Self with its infinite personal power and life’s Mission. Also, they exchange their own independent thoughts so as to desperately seek, always in vain, the Crowd’s animalistic emotionalism and concepts of the External World’s self-fulfillments. Satanist leaders of the Crowd, intensely spurred by self-interest motives and bordering on madness, have perfected the art of impressing the Crowd’s imagination—the same art that controls Crowd’s minds by arousing ‘Faith in this ‘Thing’s’ superiority”—the same art guiding the Crowd’s Faith by suggestions of achieving “the Fantasy”. Thus, each sentiment or act spewed by leaders—whom the Crowd necessarily deems to be gods—contagiously ‘goes viral.’ Those ‘un-infected’ and who fail to join the collective are “executed” by the Crowd. Such are effective since the Self-Unknown fear being alone.
For those possessing self-defeating ignorance in whatever area of life, takes self-knowledge to perceive their inability to understand their ignorance. Choosing to remain Self-Unknown is to accept the delusional ignorance that the unpredictability and transience of ordinary human life is capable of satisfying ones Private Self needs. By dedication to relentlessly pursuing Deep Self-fulfillments in the External World demands disregarding wise advice of returning to ones “Soul Sunshine” birth gift and its storehouse of innate potential to experience fullness, thriving, peace, and happiness. Some are aware of their “Clouded” out Spiritual Natural Knowledge being able to fully provide every answer for each of life’s problems but simply choose not to follow that path because of a lack of Courage to be ones Real Self. Some only internalized fragments of it but ignoring vital parts. Thus, False Self people underestimate their capabilities and/or place a low-lying ceiling for what they are capable of doing. Fear drives them to do/go wherever the ‘Crowd” points.
The unwritten “Crowd Code” emphasizes the wisdom of its Ignorance. Its judgment—a mere lottery of useful understanding–is how to make Ignorance flow comfortably for Earth World living. To be in the flow of Ignorance means one embraces the seeming truisms that Ignorance is the mother of admiration, impudence, devotion, beneficial superstitions, satisfaction with ones opinions and beliefs, and companionship. It implies one must not know too much, or doubt nothing (‘anything’s possible’); or be too precise or scientific (like a nerd) about activities of daily living. By contrast, one must know things not necessary and being “human’ makes errors okay (e.g. knowing things falsely). These provide a certain free margin to operate with some degree of vagueness, impulsiveness, and naïve-ness so as to ensure the pleasures of Crowd experiences. Adopting the motto: “what you don’t know can’t hurt you” means the Crowd can never know the whole mystery of Beauty or the sweetness of solitude or the profoundness of Thought. A Crowd member can never “stand tall” for what one knows to be “right” if the Crowd is not in agreement–or have the glorious crowded hour of achieving “the impossible” by having done it “my way”–or discovering that the “weird” person shunned by the Crowd is a mega-jewel in disguise. jabaileymd.com
