SUPERNATURAL CULT COMPETITION (4)
In C17, Thomas Hobbes elaborated on Supernatural type mental processes which feature Non-Rational thinking patterns dictated by Supernatural Contingent Beings. These patterns by a mechanically oriented society gave Non-Reason delusional superior power and false control. By lacking a sense of connectedness with the whole or with Natural World reasoning, there was no need to follow Natural Realm Logic (Bartmanski J. Sociology, 2014). Non-Reason follows a “Pecking Order” of Opinions—a “domestic-hen” type competition that establishes status assignments. Each hen is allowed to peck the hen below–except the bottom row hen (the Crowd) has to submit to being pecked but cannot do any pecking. In military chain of command, for example, a soldier’s rank is supposedly determined by merit. Leaders at the top give orders but do not take them; the new recruit takes orders and does not give them. Those in between give and take orders. Socially, rank may be determined by public confidence, by public usefulness, or by the powerful. In business, if one is able, has ambition, and works hard, one may get to the ladder’s top where External World success is present. Yet, one faces competitors at every rung on the ladder, without let-up of intense pressure until all others have stopped off at rung levels below the top. Even then there is no let-up because others in hot pursuit are on the way up–either to pull down or to catch and pass the leader.
A necessary part of this “Air Castle” Supernatural mental and “cut-throat” process is exhibited power by ‘‘Oppressive Othering’’ as, for example, making feigned enemy scapegoats into subhuman stereotypes, if not in actuality. This is an emotional micro-politics called “Intimidation” (‘impress profoundly’) as a show of strength to competitors and to frighten victims in order to convey that the oppressors are in control of their own emotions, in control of emotions of the enemy, and can crack emotions of competitors. ‘‘Oppressive Othering’’ rules include: never letting scapegoats know you are scared of them—and that is done by means of having ‘the GUN’ (whatever it takes to kill) + an eagerness to use the GUN + an instantly available support Warrior Network ‘back-up’ + a like-kind supportive Crowd. Others are to never admit being wrong about anything–and that anyone who disagrees is so wrong as needing to be eliminated; always look them ‘dead in the eye’; never back down; never do anything to make it look like you are nervous and just pretend and act like you are confident the whole time. All of this imparts a feigned superiority complex intended to reduce the aggressors’ fears; bolster warriors self-confidence and pride; and justify defining themselves as Supernaturally, physically, and mentally (‘‘Implicit Othering’’) powerful so as to present the Icon Image of ones virtual self as so ‘‘invincible’’ that ‘‘nothing can hurt me’’—thus, “men don’t cry.” Cults are Cynics (potent, practical, evil minds), believing those unlike them (the weak) are innately depraved; that irrationality and cowardice are scapegoat’s basic characteristics; that fear is the most potent of human incentives—and not Unconditional Love. Cults deal practically with the public by counting on their stupidity + appealing to their knavery (dark side) + ensuring their constant terror.
As dictators, cults seek to enslave people while using the Argument of Determinism (pre-destination) to destroy people’s reliance on the validity of their own judgments and choices so as to accept the rule of force. Since they can only rise in a precisely uncertain but compliant society inviting them to take over, cult dictators run from the confident resistance—those with intransigent conviction and moral certainty. Dictatorships hold total, unlimited power over victims—considering it moral to treat people as sacrificial animals and rule them by physical force. Their Military style is an abrogation of rights—negating a human’s right to life—and establishes the core of Statism (i.e. that ones life belongs to the state and the state can claim it at will). They ensure everybody knows the rules, stays inside the box, and is alert to “passing the test”—a concept well-known to White children in kinder-garden. Any cult or Crowd member who does not conform to the Rules will be punished by Isolation. Those going against the Rules will be harshly attacked to bring about their career destruction. Such control is so effective worldwide that I have never seen a White historian who gave Black People credit for any of the things Europeans have stolen. jabaileymd.com
