SPIRITUAL BEAUTY IN AFRICAN TRADITION

Humans find Beauty, without knowing “what it is” when it came into existence, in realms of the Spiritual, Metaphysical, Physical, and Supernatural (ranging from Fantasy Ideal to Fantasy Satanist effects). No doubt, Beauty was appreciated from the very beginning of Humankind in Africa. But its nature began to crystalize when Very Ancient African priest-astronomers, from an intense desire to know God’s Laws, studied the sky in 20,000 BC. By inventing all types of Mathematics, they discovered fixed Laws of Nature and used this knowledge to make inferences that thereby enlarged their Consciousness. An essence of this enlargement was realizing Harmony throughout the Cosmos and within all creatures and creations in their birth state. Harmony means complete adaptation of each part to the whole, implying perfect adjustment of all conditions during Involution. Involution (to cover) means that before a thing can be “evolved,” it must first be “wrapped up”—i.e. a thing must be put in before it may be taken out. Hence, the essence of Harmony is that all real things must be “involved” before it can be “evolved”—and this is true on all planes, mental, physical, and spiritual (Ramacharaka, Gnani Yoga p143;204). In African Metaphysics, Harmony means the presence of the Spiritual Elements and their forces are orchestrated by the Cosmic Mind–forces connecting all life forms–forms designed to independently serve as Cosmic Organism enhancers–servers so interdependent as to define each other. Harmony, analogized to weaving—consists of threads so intertwined as to create a single, coherent fabric held together on its own. The resultant product is a web of independent items working with an interdependence of each that is essential to the organization of the whole and a unity of its actions. “ME/WE” means “Because we are, therefore I am.” Rather than working alone (except in ones Mission), to be in such composition—particularly regarding each Thing’s inner nature–makes all things finer, if not the finest. This, the experience of a human’s Happiness and Beauty, leads one to be inside Cosmic Organism life.

From this enlargement of their Consciousness of beauty, African Sages inferred that a Cosmic Mind was the orchestrator of Harmony and if any harmonious part was separated from the whole, it continued to have Correspondence. Poetic Rational Thinking led them to further infer that the ultimate in Beauty occurred when this Cosmic Mind produced the Spiritual Elements ingredients—i.e. Unconditional Love, Truth, Reality, and the Natural. These constituted the “Genetics” for all creatures and creations. Originally, this Subjective Realm (i.e. inside the Ocean of Nun) state of “Oneness” of the Cosmic Organism meant it was a Masterpiece to which nothing could be added or subtracted to its presented unified idea of reality—and no matter where any part of it was located in the Cosmos. In the way that shining a white light through a Prism will produce rays of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet colors, the “white light” can be likened to the “Genetics” that sprang out of the infinite mind of the One Universal High Spiritual God. Since the Sublime is the transitional plane between the Heavens (the Immaterial) and the Earth (Tangible) planes, it receives the best from both—and the best is Unconditional Love. Because the Sublime is in the upper portion of the Finite Cosmos it retains the harmonious features of the Nun and of “the Heavens.” Hence, internally unified Sublime Forms show interdependence and interpenetration. Its unity features embrace the Intangible forms of Oneness, Indivisibleness, Wholeness, Completeness, and Perfection. Whatever is unified in the Sublime has a complete nature of “Being”; is undivided in itself (i.e. an Essential unity); and is separated from all that is human-made in the Tangible realms. Instead of being separate things working together, they are Spiritual Elements in constant unity creation, the Appreciation of which imparts Beauty.

To Appreciate something is to see the infinite in the finite and become aware of it by using ones Spiritual Emotions for “Feeling” it. Those Feelings derive from the Soul’s Spiritual Elements being like a radar “Trademark”. It expresses out of the Spark of God present prior to birth in each human’s Soul. That radar frequency vibrates at the same high rate as Spiritual Things of Worth in the Cosmos—e.g. Unconditional Love, Goodness, Wellness, Natural Order, Perfection, Universal Truth, and the Reality—whether viewed in Nature or in Real Self people or in acts of helping those in true need from no deliberate causes of their own making. These Beauties lead to Happiness. jabaileymd.com
