RIGHT BRAIN’S ILLOGICAL = LEFT BRAIN’S RATIONAL
Primitive Africans lived by hunting, fishing, gathering fruits of the forest, and digging wild roots and bulbs. Then one day the first wild animal was tamed–a young member of the Wolf Family–which someone trained to help in the hunt. This was followed by taming cattle somewhat. So, did these animals–who are naturally Illogical and Irrational–become Logical and Rational from training? The European World Book Dictionary defines “Illogic” as unreasonableness–and “Illogical” as contrary to the principles of sound reasoning; fallacious; unsound. It defines “Irrational” as contrary to reason and illogical; unable to think and reason clearly; an absurdity. It defines “Logical” as reasoning correctly or capable of reasoning. It defines “Rational” as sensible; able to think and reason clearly. Critical Thinking (CT) asks: “do these definitions help me know the essence of their meanings?” “Can these be applied to animals?” My assessment is that these definitions only reflect people’s opinions. Typically those opinions are used by the arrogant who “Self-Declare” they are the standard by which all is to be judged–a real clue of such people being burdened with “Broken and/or Evil Brains” and who feel terribly insecure. CT remodels these definitions in terms of Cosmic Evolution and Cosmic Laws of Opposites. To elaborate, the reason Illogical and Irrational are not clearly defined is because their human mind meanings and manifestations exist separately on different planes of existence–one form in the Right Brain and the other form in the Left Brain.
As background, the Right Brain is well developed at birth and contains pre-existing mental elements capable of doing a number of things. One example is unconsciously reshuffling ones past experiences hidden in ones memory and pulling out pertinent pieces of information. These pieces are added to a notion and as a result, some idea evolves. Everything the Right Brain does for the newborn is part of its Congenital Heritage. “Congenital” (‘born with’) means certain mental and physical traits existing at birth–regardless of whether they are heritable or due to an influence occurring during gestation up to the moment of birth. “Heritable” implies that not only are genes transferred from parent to child, but that new genes may be present in a zygote as a result of new mutations (Bailey, Medical-Legal Dictionary p60). Ones Imagination, Emotions, and Passions are in a “Wild” state–a state deemed to be Illogical and Irrational and thus not conforming to anyone’s rule or duty. Meanwhile, the Left Brain mental elements (e.g. ones reasoning, intellect, and common sense) is relatively quiet. These mental elements, sort of resembling African Chaos, are in a Congenital Tarda state (present at birth but not manifesting until some time after birth). This means they are relatively undefined in characteristics, unformed (formlessness), and “non-ordered” (i.e. undifferentiated)–but not “disordered”. The evolution of their expressive displays is delayed to age 7 (for me it was around five). Then it becomes dominant for the perception and production of almost all aspects of non-emotional language skills (e.g. grammar, word production, spelling, reading, speaking and writing); the comprehension of grammatical, syntactical, and descriptive components of language–e.g. time-sense, rhythm, musical scales, verbal concept formation, analytical reasoning, and verbal memory. It does logical tasks, such as reasoning, analysis, and processing data, like a calculator.
Together, the Right and Left Brains are “Inseparable Harmonized Differences“–like two sides of a coin–working mostly independently to interdependently first fashion a whole–then overlap in functions–and then serve as a “Check and Balance”on each other to perfect that whole. Yet, their abilities–each able to be skillfully disciplined to become extremely powerful–often occur at separate times. The Right Brain’s Unconscious faculties carry the interlocking Imagination and Emotions and their partner, called Feelings–which constitute sound Mental Elements. These “Wild” Mind Elements are irregular in presentation and consistency–and each, including Feelings, is outside the bounds of the later appearing Congenital Tarda Reason. In other words, they are bearers, before birth, of fully developed Non-Rational Metaphysical Knowledge which are naturally Illogical and Irrational forms of mental activity because they appear before Reason develops. Still, they serve a “sensible” function and only become a problem when malaligned with ones Selfhood. jabaileymd.com
