HUMANS’ LOWER (ANIMALISTIC) SELF

HUMANS’ LOWER (ANIMALISTIC) SELF

All humans are born with the ingredients to develop the mind of their Higher (Spiritual) Self as well as to discipline the already developed mind of their Lower (animalistic Secular world) Self. The function of the human Will (with the Cerebrum part of the brain) is to enable one to dominate ones Animating electromagnetic energies (part of a human’s spirit) orchestrating ones physical body. This “Animal Spirit” (Ancient African, ‘Khaibit’) is Ether–programmed for preservation of ones survival with instincts, curiosity, motivation, sense perceptions, sensuality, sensory/motor nervous powers, physiological functions, fighting, fleeing, and other motions. Yet, one can choose to spotlight ones “False Nature” psychic attractions (directed by ones Brute/Emotional Brains) of ones desires, cravings, appetites, passions, wants, and emotions. Thus, to only do what one likes/dislikes of a material nature and make this a lifestyle, invariably leads to disaster for all concerned–since they can never be guides to a thriving and happy life. Such threatens to interfere with ones pleasures or cause pain—whether real or imagined–and generates anger or fear responses incapable of solving problems or conflicts. To stay in a Lower Self state as a way of life means ones Conscience will never awaken. The mythical African god Set modelled how to live out of ones Animal nature.

Historical Lower Self “Manhood” traits include: heavy alcohol drinking and sexual activity; brawls; warring; and bad manners. To illustrate, the Roman Empire’s greatest troublemakers were Germanic peoples.  Despite Europeans being historically a warring people, it was particularly bad throughout Europe in the Dark and Middle Ages. Warriors were fighting battles everywhere— without any period of meaningful peace—and often for ‘no reason.’ Hence, the large numbers of resultant Slaves were deemed by the victors to be “expendable.” Of particular importance were the Franks, since they laid foundations for the medieval kingdoms of France and Germany (Bailey, American Crime, p22). Europeans during the Middle Ages/Renaissance were grouped as knights, merchants, farmers, and artisans. The Franks became mercenary warriors for the Romans and their intermingling gave rise to those destined to be Medieval Knights.  These hybrid Warriors were so savage, destructive, and crude that Ladies of the Medieval European royal courts took as their humanitarian burden the guiding of them into civility—but without much success.

Lords of the Feudal System (900 AD), after joining with private armies of these barbaric warriors, over time provided them with special training in a code of behavior and in the arts of war. Meanwhile, their barbaric crudeness necessitated ladies of the court and leaders of the Church fashion customary practices related to personal and social behaviors—with emphasis placed on boundaries related to manners. Those able to achieve some degree of sophistication were deemed to be knights, meaning they devoted a great part of their lives to war, religion, and the service of ladies. Their time was from C11-C15. Yet, the Knight’s Code–centering on honor, loyalty, religion, generosity, and courtesy–only applied to members of a knight’s own class (i.e., other knights, lords, and their ladies). Since the code did not apply to “Low Fellows”–those of “low birth,” like peasants and tradesmen–a knight, by believing himself to be superior, would act as badly as he pleased toward “Low Fellows.” Although they had no personal interest in religion, they remained civil to leaders of the Church by somewhat exhibiting controlled emotions. Otherwise, they disregarded the Code. Whereas knights who disliked each other still respected each other sufficiently to be civil, to all others they made no civil attempts. When battling enemy invaders, knights were professionals fighting for profits.  In the interim, warfare between neighboring rivals was something like a game in which the opponents probably knew each other well. [This, as with today’s police, help account for why Euro-Americans are so accepting of criminal behavior committed by other Euro-Americans.] Those who demonstrated fearlessness and honorable deeds, were positioned on the upper levels of the social European society and declared themselves “gentlemen.” It was the Renaissance “Gentlemen” who started the African slave trade–became “Southern Gentlemen” in the New World–and formed the USA constitution and federal government of today. jabaileymd.com
