EUROPEAN EVILNESS

EUROPEAN EVILNESS

In European tradition, Evilness’ scope, height, depth, consistency, variety, and magnitude of destructiveness are unequaled in the history of human-kind. Yet, in European literature it is extremely difficult to gain an idea of Evil’s Moral (about Sin)”what it is” aspects. The relatively few books which mention Evil do so from “what it is associated with,” “what it does,” and “how it appears.” No help comes from the etymology of the Old English word “Evil”–originally meaning “uppity”–then “Bad”–then extreme moral wickedness–then in 1280 AD, “Shrewd,” signifying evil, malicious, and dangerous before its sense changed in 1520 to astute and cunning–and then to cleverness, scheming, and deception. None of these are to be confused with intelligence because they are of an patterned nature, perfected by Innovation (adding something new to what already exists and, in this situation, has been done for 45,000 years). Today’s ruling European Evil concepts seem to be the choicest opinions of the most accepted “authorities.” In general, these Evilness concepts are selectively attentive to what is in the Physical and the European versions of the Supernatural realms. What is “against a materialistic Good life” is often the standard to which Evil is compared and judged–especially for European males, and with no generally offered and acceptable justifying definitions, explanations, or reasons. Examples of how they say Evil is allowed to enter into the Selfhood of humans includes: (1) one loses a sense of ones belief in the presence of ones chosen Supernatural God; (2) the “fall of man” (i.e. Adam and Eve); (3) whatever causes harm or deprives a Being of some good which is proper to that Being; (4) self-imposed Evil from a refusal to think; and (5) based upon their varied definitions of “Virtue,” many Western religions relate the problem of evil to a movement away from their specifically self-defined “Virtues,” under influences of a demon/devil.
That enables them to say, without cross-cultural Sages’ agreement, that Evil is a defect in moral purity and truth–whether in heart or life–whether of commission or omission. By then assigning the blame to an outside force allows people with poor moral development to shirk responsibility for their evil actions. Though the African mythological god Set (who Europeans adopted as fact and made into a ‘factual’ Satan) was borrowed into the Judeo-Christian religion or philosophy as Lucifer (e.g. featuring a fall from Grace and moral deterioration after virtue), no help in pin-pointing can be found here since there is great confusion about how they represent Evil. Satan, Evil, and Dark (signifying misery, punishment, perdition or loss of the soul and hell) became the trio Europeans used to characterize the “Dark Side“–and with the justification of: “the Devil made me do it.” Millennia later, Set became the basis of the Christian Satan–an evil Supernatural entity honored with a superhuman status; an opposing reality to God (a form of idolatry) and a user of blasphemy (false statements, problem creators, hypocracy, or done out of “Me, Me” self-interest).
In European literature, the “Occult” refers to the mysterious lying below the surface of things or beyond the ordinary range of ones information, perception, or understanding. Historically, it has been applied to the Magical Arts, witchcraft, astrology, alchemy, palmistry, and all aspects of the Supernatural (the made-up). Within these wide-ranging beliefs are concepts of Evil–essentially all deemed to be “Natural”–defined by them as what is beyond a human’s control. That spanning range of Secular and Supernatural Evil–for which Europeans use the term “Dark Side“–embraces every degree of the IHES Complex–Indifference, Hate, Evilness, Sadism. The Indifference part is shown by those with one foot in the IHES Complex stream flow and the other foot on shore; those standing on the shore–the Hate part; those walking away from the shore and wandering into Evil Unknowns–called Brutes–the Secular Evil part. Satanists, do all they can to destroy the flow and dissipate the Stream while trapping all humans possible in their fishnet so as to perform Sadism acts. Those in the IHES Complex operate in the realms of Illusions (in attempts to affirm truth for deception, as opposed to Truth’s operation through Reality to affirm itself) and Hallucinations. These fashion Delusions characterized by “Me, Me” Individualism–Evil “sick” pleasures–and Fetters–e.g. hatred, fear, lies, jealousy, egoism, anger, greed, lust, and envy. jabaileymd.com
