COSMIC ORGANISM INSTINCT CORRESPONDENCE (1)
As a Morehouse College (Atlanta, Georgia) student, “chilling out” in a mixed male and female “bull session,” one of the females was suddenly given a big box nicely wrapped and with a pretty bow. When she opened the box, there was a second box inside—then a smaller box inside the second box—and so on until she got to a tiny box. Upon opening that final box she discovered an engagement ring. Thereafter, I called this the “Box inside a Box inside a Box” Concept. One of many applications of this concept is that the inner most box of a human represents a human’s Soul. Another is the tiny box can symbolize whatever gives rise to an Emotion. A third is its analogy to Russian Nesting Dolls. Here, each doll is separate and, placed one inside the other, is of decreasing size. Hence, each inside smaller figure of the same sort, has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on to include 5 to dozens. This is called Correspondence—meaning each doll has the same “Genetics” as all the rest and yet the way that “Genetics” is packaged is different for each doll. Nothing has been more helpful for me to advance in conceptualizing things in the unknown or what is perplexing or penetrating the interior of spirit than observing the manifestations of the Ancient African concept of Correspondence. Correspondences present throughout the Cosmic Organism and throughout all Cosmic planes of existence means each entity made by God–and regardless at what plane level that entity is on–has the same “Genetics” consisting of the Spiritual Elements but with its own uniquenesses. “Elements” means “First Principle”—i.e. the simplest form of an entity when it came into being and out of which it, by itself, reproduces itself, to become the thing it makes. So, Spiritual Elements refer to God’s inner nature of Unconditional Love and God’s outer nature of Life in the form of whatever is “First Principle” Truth, Reality, and the Natural. These constitute Cosmic “Genetics.”
In other words, each God made thing has the same Base/Foundation “Genetics” in each of its offspring, regardless of what that offspring looks like and regardless of where that offspring is located within the Comic plane of existence. Despite the Uniqueness in each entity, the “Genetic Sameness” is what underlies the obvious and the hidden. An obvious observable “sameness” example is “Human Nature” while a hidden one embracing the entire Cosmic Organism is Instincts. To illustrate instincts, all living organisms are able to detect changes within themselves (e.g. position, motion or static) and in their environment (of such things as light, temperature, sound, motion, and odor). Once detected, these changes must be analyzed and acted upon in order to preserve the integrity, well-being, and status quo of ones Selfhood. Humans have been given the ability to detect and make changes based upon Intellect—but that birth gift has to be cultivated out of its Ocean of Nun (Subjective Realm) potential possibility state. To understand Correspondence of say, Instincts, on any given plane of Cosmic existence gives insight into instincts of a less evolved or of a more complex nature. Hence, the African Tradition expression: “So above, so below; so below, so above.” The entire “nesting” reaction types present throughout the Plant and Animal Kingdoms, including a human’s Self, are orchestrated by Instincts. Nesting Dolls serve as an analogy for how humans are put together from representatives of all members of the Cosmic Organism.
To elaborate, let us say the Plant Kingdom was the first to come into existence following the creation of the Cosmos and thus represents Level I–the most primitive form of Instincts. Plants engage in instinctual physiological-biochemical processes called Photosynthesis—i.e. using energy in the sun’s light to feed themselves by synthesizing organic ingredients on the basis of mineral matter. Level II is the Plants/Animal Transition which possesses some features of both Plants and Animals. An example is the Venus Fly-trap—operating in a manner that embraces Photosynthesis (to make its own food) + like animals’ Reflexes (involuntary acts) to grab food from things that have fed on food. This heralds the Secular (Earth World) “First Principle” pertaining to the beginning of the Diffuse Nervous System category. It is the earliest form of communication through which will later develop a process consisting of a sensory process with a motor nerve meeting at a nerve center. Note that this Secular “First Principle” is like the parent Spiritual “First Principle”. jabaileymd.com
