AFRICAN MA’AT THOUGHT SYSTEM
The greatest geniuses the world has ever known were the Ancient Black African “man-gods” Tehuti and Imhotep. Their divinity genius was a spontaneous part of natural ability not requiring instruction or training for creation, invention, discovery, or expression–called Wisdom. As African Sages, Tehuti and Imhotep sought Principles (Spiritual Elements pieces) inside the Esoteric (exposing intricacies of defying fundamental thoughts/understandings)–inside the Scientific–and about logical events (ordered changing Realities) pertaining to higher planes of existence. They spoke of Cosmic Matter in Space acting like a balloon deflating (Involution–returning to the center) and inflating (Evolution–growth where things are set free to expand)–as Einstein embraced in modern times. Such integrating assessments of the Obvious, the Hidden, and the Essence of Things required thinking in Symbols while manipulating Principles. For example, the way they arrived at God being Omnipotent (unlimited and universal power), Omnipresent (present everywhere simultaneously), Omniscient (having total knowledge of everything), and Immanent (entirely a Mind) started with realizing the “Space” in the sky served as the background enabling humans to see the stars. To use a today’s example, you are looking at this printed page and noticing the words while ignoring the white background upon which the black ink is printed. What one sees on this page is the result of having learned definite rules about its words–e.g. its letters of the alphabet which form the words and the message you get from assigning a meaning to them. But none of this would be possible if it were not for the blank white page on which the words are printed–a page called a Substance (‘stands underneath’). So, “Things” of awareness from human’s senses can only be known by its Opposite.
Ancient Africans had no images of God for they considered God–the enabler of all Real Things–to be like a “blank” (unknowable). Imaging all God’s manifestations is the only way to know God. But to see God as an image (e.g. one with a white beard) or as a “Sound” (God said…) or as a man is idolatry. Manifested Opposite pairs alternate between Yin (feminine–the Womb, the Void, the Negative, the Dark, the Nothingness–all beyond human’s perception or conception) and the Yang (the Masculine–the image or sound of what can be known). Both are involved in interactions underlying and constituting the whole world of Forms (“the 10,000 things”). Although Cosmic Energy’s distribution throughout the Cosmos is invariable, each Form features the sum of two equal amounts of energy–one positive and active in kind and the other negative and passive. Yet, their nature has varying proportions of these two modes of energy involved in their creation. Such multiplicities of creation as Forms are what energy takes on as it moves and interacts in different polarities or pairs of opposites. By being beyond any concepts of duality, it (e.g. Truth) operates out of singularity, not duality–proceeding to make manifest: (a) Tao (road, way, Truth, Right conduct); (b) the source of Laws and Being; and (c) the way or course of Nature, Destiny, Cosmic Order. This is because the Absolute (God’s Substance) which underlies the Cosmos is made manifest and it inhabits every created thing. African Sages used knowledge of Opposites–the Yin-Yang binary–to form African Logic. First, they emphasized the “Big Three” of: (1) using pure and spontaneous expressions in addressing the Metaphysical and Supernatural; (2) Spiritual Elements presentations by means of a harmonious and unified spirit; and (3) maintaining a mystical expression aura by interacting “Soul to Soul” with others–as in the “Call and Response.”
Second, since planes of existence combinations are exemplified by a human, this example of Nature’s Unity consists of parts so inseparable that none can, without fundamental damage, be separated from the others. Even sitting still or resting in the deepest of sleep, the atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, and systems of the human body dance in astounding harmony and exchange ambient energies from air, water, food, and invisible electromagnetic radiation. Such Unity of Action is a complete and ordered structure of activities directed toward the intended effect and with every unit functional. When forming a Thought Structure requiring a premise Base, that Base, if compatible with the Spiritual Elements, is in the Ma’at System of Thought. jabaileymd.com
